Air Cadet Trophy – results
1406 Sqn was able to put in two teams of “marksmen” forward for the Air Cadet Trophy this year, the competition is a postal shoot with several “shoots” which the team members must complete using Air Rifles against ring targets – the inner circle or “bull” being awarded the most points.
The team 1406A and 1406B, submitted all the required shoots and were awarded the following points and places in the competition:
1406A – 7692 points – 4th Place
1406B – 7424 points – 8th Place
Both teams have done extremely well and are to be congratulated on our first entry into competition!
Individuals should be proud of their participation team results which were made up of the following personal scores:
Cpl J Charlton and CWO M Lockie – 2578 points – joint 12th place
Sgt H Stacey – 2514 points – 17th place
Cdt P Siekierzynski – 2502 points – 19th place
Cpl J Avery – 2408 points – 22nd place
CWO A Oxby – 2015 points – 37th place (left the corps before the end of the competition)
Cdt W Chew – 521 points 56th place (well done on only one shoot, replacing CWO Oxby – last place 68th was 372 points )
